En todo el mundo, los amantes de
los vinos de Burdeos han hecho de este Château uno de
los vinos del Médoc más apreciados. Es un vino
sólido y potente, afrutado y aromático de un
profundo color Ruby, habitualmente impresionante. Si bien
no tiene la gracia y elegancia de los grandes vinos de Pauillac,
compensa esta insuficiencia con generosidad, redondez y estilo
caluroso.

Notas de Cata
2000 With reasonable natural yields and
perfect ripening and harvesting conditions, this year we have
an outstanding vintage. The wines are powerful and full-bodied.
The colours are beautiful. The tannins are smooth and linger
in the mouth.
1999 Displaying a dense purple color as
well as low acidity, this blackberry and cassis-flavored 1999
possesses a fat, juicy mid-section, and outstanding purity,
ripeness, and glycerin in the long finish, which oozes over
the palate with no bumps. The tannin is well-concealed by
the wealth of chewy fruit.
1998 Beautiful dark colour. Red and black
plum berry and cherry fruit, aromatic woods nose and taste.
The wine is very finely balanced with ripe menthol cherry
fruit and elegantly firm wood tanins. A lovely long elegant
aftertaste.
1997 Intense red colour. The nose is powerful
with elegant oak background, blackcurrant, menthol, résin,
mocka. The taste is persistent, rich, impressive concentration
of ripe, round tannin. The 2% of petit verdot bring in the
end a touch ofviolet, blackberry.
1996 Deep, dark, garnet-red colour. Sweet,
fruity aroma reminiscent of warm grapes. Very rich on the
palate, with a plush, compact texture . A big wine with good
extract.
1995 Deep colour. The nose is quite complex,
though closed-in at this stage. Promising hints of very ripe
fruit. Starts off very rich on the palate, with an impressive
tannic structure. Lots of power and impressive length.
1994 Intense, ruby-red colour. Pleasant
berry bouquet with a hint of new oak. Starts out soft and
rich on the palate. Excellent tannic backbone, though quite
smooth. Long aftertaste.
1993 Brilliant, intense, garnet-red colour.
The nose is fairly closed at this time, but has a beautiful
underlying fruitiness. The initial sensation on the palate
is soft and rich, although the tannin is still a little hard.
This wine needs to open up, but has a very worthwhile potential.
1992 Deep garnet red. Pleasing, fruity
nose which needs to age. This wine starts out quite soft on
the palate. Elegant and well-balanced. Fairly powerful for
the vintage. Already enjoyable to drink.
1991 Deep garnet-red. Complex blackcurrant,
liquorice and cherry nose. The first impression on the palate
is soft and rich. Good tannin. Lots of power. Fairly long.
Ready to drink.
1990 Very dark colour. Subtle bouquet
of cocoa, coffee, cedar and peppermint. Starts out very soft
and rich on the palate. Impressive tannic structure, though
in now way harsh. Very long aftertaste. Very great wine. Both
powerful and suave.
